5 months ago we both had babies a day apart. 3 babies in 24 hours and we had no clue how the business would survive. We’d planned our maternity leave for months, hired helped, had conversations with clients and yet still, the business, as you’d expect, took a very very hard hit. And, as a first time mom and a first time twin mom, we too took a few hits through postpartum.

But, 5 months after our lives and businesses were changed forever, we just wrapped up one of the best months in Hometown Creative history with more inquiries in one month than we’ve ever had!

Our story is one I think a lot of moms have experienced. A comeback story – a reminder that we can do hard things and come out even better, more joyful, and more determined on the other side.

I saw a TikTok mom share that Flamingos often lose their pink color during the process of breeding and raising their chicks. Eventually the parents regain their color once the chicks are eating and functioning independently.

I think as moms we can all relate. Motherhood is a crazy beautiful process. Mix that with business ownership and you have yourself one heck of an adventure.

With all this being said, be on the lookout because Hometown Creative is getting its color back. In 2023, we’ll be rebranding and relaunching with the same vision and mission but with a refreshed look.

In the meantime, we’re excited to see what this month has in store.
